So the 'A' Level Results were released today and lotsa people will be wondering 'WHAT COURSE SHOULD I TAKE?' 'WHAT DO I WANT TO DO IN LIFE?'
Like just a few months ago you had to ask for permission to pee and now we have to make life-changing decisions hurhur.
I wasted years in a course that totally did not work for me because I was 'going with the flow- get into a prestigious course that gets you $$$' and 'doing what was expected of me'. In the end... I ended up doing something completely different anyway. That's money and time that could have been better spent somewhere else.
And when I found out what I wanted in life?
It didn't matter whether I did well or had a blinged out testimonial... In the end, I didn't have the knowledge or skill to pursue the artistic courses I really wanted ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. So yea, grades are important but only if you know what you want from using those grades.
So don't be like me, who ran full speed blindly and all over the place. If you know what you cherish (it could be prestige, wealth, stability or just contentedness), you can discover what you like/ don't dislike. Then run.
